Steps to make for a perfect MODX design

Thinking before doing

To arrive at a concrete proposal, we prepare a functional design (FD) for the back end, which we later translate into an extensive technical design document (TDD). The FD is the blueprint for the application and describes which functionality the CMS must provide and what the dynamic is between the components of the back end. In the TDD, we describe the technical operation of the back end. It describes the database structures as well as external applications. For deployment, Sterc works on staging servers, so you can always access the development environment safely. We test always and often, and make use of techniques such as automatic code quality checks. We examine the operation of third party APIs and choose suitable hosting – dedicated hosting if necessary.

It's a journey. Enjoy the ride.

headless MODX CMS

Do you want to integrate a headless CMS? MODX operates fantastically in headless mode. Headless? Yes: there is no front end, which means the content migrates via a RESTful API. The focus of a headless CMS is content management; the way the content is presented is irrelevant for such a CMS.
